Watch: Revisiting a Patient One Year Later

In July, 2022, a team from the Tej Kohli & Ruit Foundation visited the home of one of its first patients - Murathi Parsi of Lumbini, Nepal. She instantly recognised the team and shared a wide smile.

It is hard to believe that this woman could not see anything one year ago, let alone recognise someone from ten metres away. Assessing the impact the Tej Kohli & Ruit Foundation intervention had in the life of Murathi Parsi, her family and the community Murathi Parsi lives in - Parsi is happy to resume her household duties, plant paddy and maize, and live a life free from social exclusion.
